No live API in the loop
Unlike the Magic and Pokémon apps, the deck of what can be pulled ships with the page.
All thirteen sets, every card, and the full rarity table are bundled directly into the app as data, so opening a pack never depends on a third-party card database being up. The only network call the app makes is a courtesy: fetching a card’s artwork from Ravensburger’s own image service once you’ve pulled it, purely cosmetic and never required to play.
That trade means Lorcana Packs came together faster and more reliably than its siblings, at the cost of needing a manual update whenever a new set releases. Given Lorcana ships a new set roughly every few months, that is a trade worth making.

- With an Enchanted pull chase-rare rare enough to matter: roughly 1 in 96 packs.

- “Every chapter” tracks a pull from all thirteen sets, alongside your running collection.
